Apple Releases iOS Upgrade 5.1.1 Today!

Hello, peeps! Have you upgraded your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to iOS 5.1.1? I am upgrading my iPod Touch 4 now as I write this blog entry.

This is just a minor software update as it only focuses on fixing bugs from the previous release. So don’t expect too much.

Mr. Fix-it Guy to the Rescue

When something gets broken in the house, it is my husband who always comes to the rescue no matter how little the problem is. Yes, he is our resident Mr. Fix-It guy. And I am glad he is an active member of my household. Hehe.

Thanks for all your help, daddy!

I may be the one running the household, but my dear husband play a significant role too. He can fix electrical wiring, loose door knobs, and even as simple as replacing screws or spring pin sets.

So I always make sure to serve him good food when he gets home from work.

For me, personalized gifts are the sweetest and most thoughtful! Last Christmas, we received personalized gift mugs from our account’s Senior Operations Director.

What I love about the gift was that, despite his super busy schedule, he actually had taken the time to look at each and every one’s Facebook account to grab several nice photos and printed them on the mugs. He painstakingly picked the photos himself and made sure we all looked good.

I personally like shopping for my stuff online because it’s more convenient, hassle-free and most of all, it’s cheaper. Kids’ toys, feeding bottles, gadgets and books are some of the things I bought online. When you compare their prices with the ones being sold at the malls, you will be surprised — they are much cheaper online!

Our Little Miss Independent

At 2, my daughter Ayesha is showing admirable signs of independence. She prefers eating all by herself, putting on her clothes, removing the cap of her feeding bottle at night, navigating options on my iPod Touch when playing games, and many more!

It seems like my baby can’t wait to grow old and do things on her own.

Last night as I was putting her to sleep, she refused to let me remove her pink dangling earrings, necklace with pendant beads and bracelet. I was only able to remove all her accessories and she finally fell asleep.

Anniversary

Next month, my husband and I are celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary. We were steady for 3 years before we got married, which means we’ve known and loved each other for 11 years already!

How time flies!

What a blessing to have this man in my life! I thank God every single day for having him. I could not ask for more!

Now going back to the anniversary…I want to surprise my husband with a nice dinner in a fine restaurant and probably an overnight hotel accommodation for the two of us. It doesn’t have to be in a 5-star hotel with an expensive flat-screen TV on a TV mount or a luxurious bathroom.

I just want us to have an uninterrupted time together, be free from the worries of the world, and just have a good time.
